Submersible Pump Station Servicing – 6 Monthly

Submersible pump stations will always fail at the most inconvenient times, either when it is raining heavily or on a Sunday morning. Both events can lead to expensive liquid salvage tankering or even the shutdown of your site.

It is recommended that these pits, pumps and controls are serviced every 6 months. In this instance the guide rail which the pump is removed with has corroded away so the pump can no longer safely be removed for service.

CPM can carry out routine service and maintenance to the manufacturers requirements to avoid these issues getting to the “emergency situation” stage. When the rails are due for replacement the recommendation is to upgrade to stainless steel guide rails and chains for longer service life.

Contact CPM today to arrange a service before the pit gets to this stage.
